Description: In response to the recent rise of Islamophobia, the Muslims of Norway held a beautiful event to demonstrate the mercy and kindness of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by handing out roses to the public with a description of his life attached. Here is a video they made from that event:
Later, the Muslims of Birmingham, UK did the same on a larger scale. This movement has spread also the globe from New Zealand, Dubai, to Orlando and New York City.
In light of the recent events at Rutgers University in dealing with Islamophobia, dedicated students on campus as well as Muslims for Peace saw it fitting to spread this initiative to the New Brunswick campus. Let’s come together like millions have across the world to remind each other that it is compassion that holds us together in humanity, and the greatest example of this is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
We encourage all students, faculty and community members to join us together on this day to help spread the message of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on College Avenue. Participants will be given a flower to gift to those passing by. If you have any questions or comments please message us or post on the wall.
